Winners will be contacted the week of July 12th. Selected nominees will be publicly acknowledged on August 3 and their awards will be presented by the Ventura County Board of Supervisors, coinciding with National Breastfeeding Awareness Week, August 3-7, which is celebrated in the United States and throughout the world.  Nomination forms may be obtained at the following links:  www.breastfeedventura.org or http://www.breastfeedventura.org/awards.html

Nomination forms will be accepted at any of the eight WIC offices throughout the county or mailed to WIC, Ventura County Health Care Agency, Attn: Laura Flores, 2240 Gonzales Road, Suite 290, Oxnard, CA. 93036. Employers, childcare centers and providers, and healthcare providers make a critical difference in whether a working mother continues to breastfeed her infant. Supportive employers, childcare providers and centers, and healthcare providers deserve to have their efforts recognized and rewarded.
