MVP Dad

Ian D. McFadyen

Profile: Ian was nominated by his wife Claudia who said this about him:

I want to enter my husband Ian for Super Dad because he is a true representation of what a good father is. He is involved in the lives of his children, he is caring and funny, loving and giving but never forgets that his #1 role is to be their Father. He is their teacher, mentor and guide first, and their friend, second. What he wants more for his children is for them to know that they can do anything in life, to be loving and to care about others. The time that he spends with Elisa and Liam is dedicated to building those qualities in them.
Ian is a devoted Special Education high school teacher. He truly believes that he can change the lives of his students and puts great effort and time into achieving that. He is the coordinator of the Teaching Academy at Pacifica High School where students who aspire to become teachers themselves, will learn how.
Ian is very passionate about teaching and reaching out to these kids. Ian not only teaches his students lessons, but how to be great men and women, who wil in turn change the lives of others. His passion, devotion and belief in what he does makes him a wonderful teacher and mentor.
Ian is a wonderful husband. We share a beautiful live together with our children. Our children are learning to be loving and understanding because of his influence. It warms my heart to be able to share this information about Ian with others.
